HANNA ISUL — EST. 1982
Four decades of patented research, clinical testing, and transdermal innovation behind every Hanna Isul formula.

1982
Milestone 01
Established a product testing alliance with Dr. Gracy, Chairman of Biochemistry and Dean of Research at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where a patented human skin tissue equivalent was implemented to measure safety and efficacy of products.
YEAR
Milestone 02
The launch of the SOVAS 5 Medical Skin Care System characterized by 9 years of intensive research proved revolutionary.
The transdermal delivery of five (5) potent natural ingredients nourish deep within the epidermis and cellular infrastructure.
2002 & 2007
Milestone 03
U.S. patented transdermal firming formulation marked the first and only skin therapy that “breaks through” the superficial layers of the skin and dynamically impacts the skin’s growth cells.
The second U.S. patent corners the skincare market with a clinically proven skin healing formulation.
NEXT
Milestone 04
Patent pending on the newest innovation: the 30/70 Serum
The ongoing pursuit of clinically-backed skin transformation.

We want products that are safe for a thousand years, not just for three years.
Since 1982, Hanna Isul has built its reputation not on trends, but on rigorous science. Every formulation begins in the lab, not the marketing room. Grounded in patented technology, clinical testing, and a relentless pursuit of measurable skin health outcomes.
Her progressive approach to treatment led to the origination of two skincare patents that address the necessary functions for overall skin reform through healing and rejuvenation. U.S. patented transdermal firming formulation marked the first and only skin therapy that “breaks through” the superficial layers of the skin and dynamically impacts the skin’s growth cells. The second U.S. patent corners the skincare market with a clinically proven skin healing formulation. Among those that seek after Myong’s anti-aging methods are international dignitaries and celebrities.
The human skin equivalent allows for controlled testing under a variety of circumstances to enable the researcher to understand the effects of the product on different skin conditions. This research method provides the most optimal systems for experimental development and testing of new skin care products to assure safety and quality with proven results. HSTE has allowed testing of many parameters including exfoliation, rehydration, collagen synthesis, and delivery of vitamins and nutrients to underlying cells and new tissue growth.
When testing our products, we use Human Skin Tissue Equivalent. HSTE is a patented research tool developed at the University of North Texas by Dr. Robert Gracy and Dr. Dan Dimitrijevich, which replicates human skin tissue. This provides the most valid method available to develop new skin care products.

Eliminates need for animal testing
Shows normal skin physiology & pathology
Establishes optimal concentrations &
delivery of antioxidants, vitamins, and nutrients
Permits accurate, quantitative assessment of skin damage and aging (e.g. oxidation, sun damage)
Allows testing and development of new products (e.g. antioxidants and sunscreens)
Allows accurate assessment of transdermal delivery
HSTE testing remains a cornerstone of Hanna Isul's product development process to this day.
After nine years of intensive research, Hanna Isul introduced SOVAS-5.
A proprietary transdermal delivery system engineered to carry five (5) potent natural ingredients past the surface of the skin and deep into the epidermis and cellular infrastructure. Unlike topical treatments that sit on the surface, SOVAS-5 was built to nourish skin at the level where real renewal begins.
